Panasonic E-waste Recycling Policy

Panasonic will support e-waste legislation in India and where necessary, will participate with regulatory authorities, industry peers, environmental groups and other accredited bodies to help in the evolution of the same. It is Panasonic’s belief that legislation should be practical, economically viable and effective for all stakeholders concerned.

In a pro-active move to address the issues of e-waste in India, Panasonic will initiate and outline a scheme for a voluntary ‘End of life Cycle’ (EOL) product recycling program in a phased manner before March 2010 (Individually or collectively with peers/stakeholders).

Panasonic will further promote factory waste recycling in India as per Panasonic Corporation Policy.

Panasonic will embark on a series of environmental awareness building campaigns in India.
